Bike Basics

Sure you like to ride, but do you really know much about your bike? This hands on class will cover all the basics, from getting to know all the major parts and components, to how to fix a flat tire, along with tips for adjustments, riding ergonomics, and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their bikes and gear, and get their hands dirty during this interactive session. Sixty minutes of active instruction, followed by an open Q&A. To be held in the MBS Pilates studio. Space is limited and is open on a first come, first served basis.

*Tom Trevino received a Bachelor's degree from UTSA and certification and training from the Cooper Institute in Dallas. He's been a personal trainer and coach for more than a decade, and has participated in numerous cycling events, from BMX races to triathlons, and currently rides a giant single speed cruiser. He was fortunate enough to train and work with Chuck Ramirez, who loved to ride his bike, and often rode to and from workout sessions. This class is a tribute to him.
